The MHS PTO present annual financial awards to deserving individuals:
THE INSPIRATION AWARD
Every year the Senior Class is asked to submit a nominee for a Teacher, Administrator or Staff member whom has most positively affected their high school career. MHS staff members includes administration, faculty, guidance, secretary/support staff, permanent subs, teaching assistants and school nurses; essentially any adult working at MHS. A committee of 4-6 members of the senior class considers the number of votes as well as the quality of the comments in order to make a final selection for that years award and presents the winner on Senior Class day. Recipients are NOT eligible if they have previously received the award in the last 5 years. The Inspiration Award will distinguish a member of the Medfield High School Staff that has an exceptional ability to inspire, motivate and encourage students. This staff member should also exemplify the Mission Statement, Core Values and MHS' Vision of the Graduate. The winner of the award is presented with an initial $50 cash gift and a $450 Grant.
